The Counselors
Kathryn L. Wenzel  LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Work Counselor and owner of Art of Redirection Counseling. She uses traditional and non-traditional methods of counseling in working with individuals, couples, families, blended and co-parenting divorced families. She has done teaching and training seminars on intimacy and parenting in workshops and seminars individually and with Rob for nearly 14 years. Her counseling specialties are educating individuals and couples on Arrested Development, sexual addiction, emotional anorexia, intimacy issues. She also works with women on topics such as co-dependency, depression, independence, family counseling, co-parenting, divorce, blended family issues, stress management, anxiety, abuse, grief and loss, women's issues and more.

She holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Counseling from Colorado State University-Pueblo, and a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University. A member of the National Association of Social Workers, active member of Harley Owners Group, the National Social Work Honor Society and The Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Black Belt degree in Okinawan Kenpo and rides a Harley Davidson Low Rider. She is married to Rob and is the mother of their four adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.


Robert B. Wenzel M.A. LCPC

Rob has over 32 years experience working with adults and children. Licensed as a Professional Counselor he utilizes both traditional and non-traditional methods in addressing individual, couples, family and blended family issues. He holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from CU Colorado Springs, a Bachelors Degree in Criminology from Metro State College in Denver and an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Ononadga Community College in Syracuse, New York. Post Graduate training continually with Dr Doug Weiss PhD on sexual addiction. He rides a Harley Davidson Fat Boy, is married to Kathy, is the father of four adult children,and two beautiful grandchildren. He is an active member of Harley Owners Group, the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Rob's areas of specialty include: Arrested Development, Marital and relationship conflicts, Pornography addiction, Sexual addiction, Reactive emotional anorexia, Family Counseling / Blended Family Issues, Self-esteem and self-image problems related to the marriage/relationship.


Rob and Kathy are published authors doing teaching and training seminars all over the United States on Arrested Development, Intimacy and Parenting, individually and together, utilizing these models and changing people’s lives forever.
