Our Staff
What makes us different from other counselors?

"As 'professional' counselors, we want you to know we are 'real' people, passionate about life, eachother and helping others. We don't look down our noses or think people aren't good enough... We ride Harleys, hunt, fish, BBQ and participate in other exhilarating activities. Our desire is to help people struggling with their relationships. We have been there and want to come along side you and your spouse and help you talk about the hard stuff like sex, intimacy, pornography addiction, erectile dysfunction, blended family issues, challenging children, religious outcasting and help you overcome, grow and learn how to have the passionate, vibrant, positive, intimate relationships you want and need."

Angel has been married for over 33 yrs, has 4 children, 1 adult and 3 teenagers.

Seven years ago her husband disclosed his alcohol, sex and drug addiction to her. After an 8 month separation, his actively participating in a sexual addiction recovery program, and proving he was sober from all addictions during that period of time, the marriage was reconciled and he moved back in with Angel. During this time Angel sought counseling and much needed help from a women's / partners support group.

Angel facilitates a Partners of Sex Addicts or Emotional Anorexics Group at the Montebello Dr office of Art of Redirection Counseling and has for over 2 yrs now. Having a group of women going through or who had been through what she had been through was a life saver for Angel and she uses her experiences to help many other women walk through this season of their lives.

Partners of Sex Addicts or Emotional Anorexics Group is not just a "talk about it" group. There is structure, accountability, exercises and steps for helping women actively recover and understand their husband's addiction / emotional anorexia and grow themselves through it. It is a safe place for women to grow and heal in a confidential setting with others that truly understand what you are going through.

The Partners of Sex Addicts &/or Emotional Anorexics Group is open and meets Thursday evenings at 6:30 - 8:00pm at 4360 Montebello Dr. Colorado Springs

I have worked in ministry for 18 years and in private practice and counseling agencies. I have a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. I have been married for 22 years and we have three teenagers! I love golf, hockey, badminton, reading, and watching my kids play sports.

I have set up my private practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado to help anyone struggling in their lives. I work with individuals, couples, and families.

I know that sometimes life is a struggle and it can be hard to gather up the strength and courage to admit you need help. I just want you to know that if you need that help in the form of counseling please call and set up an appointment. I see individuals, couples, and families; I can even work SKYPE counseling into the plan if that is what you prefer.
